America is a nation of dog lovers – we consider dogs part of the family, and there’s a surprising amount of really weird stuff you can buy for dogs. There’s dog beer, dog door bells, wifi cameras designed to be mounted at dog eye level, and plenty of embarrassing costumes of course. The origins of the CSBarks Dog Festival was simply to create an event that appealed to pet parents in the village of Carol Stream, but over the past six years it has grown to attract up to 5000 visitors from across Chicagoland.
We developed a logo, color scheme and custom font for this event, as well as experiential marketing pieces, a microsite, print ads and poster designs – in which we often managed to find a way to sneak in a photo of Ollie.
